• CLUB Compañeros de ConversacióN: CONVERSATION PARTNERS MEETINGS OR VELADA INTERNACIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

PRESHCO offers students the opportunity to meet other students at the University of Córdoba through a series of meetings and activities organized by the program, and others that the students initiate on their own. These activities are totally OPTIONAL.

The main objective of these activities is twofold; to promote the practice of the Spanish language in everyday situations, and to get to know the culture and people of Córdoba. Former PRESHCO students cite community integration through the conversation partner program as one of the most beneficial aspects of studying with PRESHCO.

PRESHCO staff in charge of organizing these activities propose a number of activities to do with Spanish partners, and these are covered by the program. These are called ACTIVIDADES SUBVENCIONADAS. Some of these activities are: to go to the cinema, theater, musical events, museums, cinema night, game night, cata de productos cordobeses, among others. More information about activities and dates will be provided once in Spain.

• CHOIR

  PRESHCO, through Universidad de Cordoba, give students the opportunity to join to “Coro Averroes”. First, the student needs to do a voice test with the directors. Once the student is accepted, he/she could assist to class and auditions two hours a week.

  PRESHCO students also have the possibility to join to a “Coral” with the “Fundación Miguel Castillejo”. The student needs to do a voice test with the director and if the student is accepted, he/she could assist to programmed class and auditions. Practices take place one or two hours per week. There is no additional cost for the student.
