The PRESHO Program is open to undergraduate students from consortium institutions with the equivalent of two years of college-level Spanish* and to non-consortium students on a space available basis. Two years of college-level Spanish is equivalent to at least 4 semesters; if you have taken several years of high school Spanish or are a native or near-native speaker, you will still need to have a language evaluation completed prior to acceptance. You may also need to have a conversation in Spanish with the Resident Director.

Preference will be given to applicants who have an overall grade average of B (3.0) or better, whose work in Spanish has been strong, and whose personal qualities give evidence of an ability to adapt to life abroad.

PRESHCO does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, gender, disability, sexual preference or national or ethnic origin.
